Carbon Reduction Plan 2025

Introduction

Skylite Associates Limited (“Skylite”) maintains a foundational commitment to ethical business conduct and the respect for human rights, with a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Skylite has taken during the financial year ending 31 December 2025 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within its business operations and supply chains.

With over 30 years of experience, Skylite Associates is committed to excellence in all aspects of its work. We provide professional coaching, consultancy, and leadership development services to individuals, organisations, and senior leaders across the UK. Guided by our core values of Inspiration | Transformation | Success, we believe that integrity, respect, and accountability underpin every successful relationship.

Our philosophy is simple: by supporting, guiding, and developing our clients through purposeful engagement, we help them achieve lasting transformation. This ethos extends to our approach to ethical business conduct and respect for human rights.

Our Structure and Operations

Skylite Associates Limited is a privately owned UK company providing professional coaching, training, and organisational development services. We operate across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, delivering bespoke programmes that promote leadership growth and organisational transformation.

Our organisational structure is lean, with a central management team supported by a trusted network of independent associate coaches, consultants, and suppliers. We employ 3 full-time staff and engage with an average of 40 independent associates/contractors. We do not operate overseas and have assessed the overall risk of modern slavery within our direct operations as low.

Our Supply Chains

Skylite’s supply chain primarily comprises UK-based suppliers providing professional services, IT systems, office support, training venues, and other administrative functions.

Although the risk of modern slavery within our immediate operations is considered low, we recognise that any supply chain can present potential risks. As our supply chain is focused on UK-based professional services, the risk is inherently reduced, but we remain vigilant as we recognise all businesses can be indirectly exposed to risk. We therefore maintain a robust commitment to ensuring that all suppliers and associates share our standards of ethical conduct, human rights protection, and legal compliance.

Policies and Governance

Skylite Associates maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. Our internal policies are designed to ensure that all business activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with the law.

Key principles of our approach include:

  • Conducting business in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and related legislation.
  • Requiring all suppliers and associates to comply with UK employment and immigration laws.
  • Promoting transparency and accountability throughout our supply chain.
  • Providing a confidential mechanism, such as our Whistleblowing Policy, for staff or associates to report concerns without fear of reprisal.

These principles are embedded within our contracts, supplier engagement processes, and internal governance framework.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

Skylite carries out proportionate due diligence on new suppliers and associates to assess compliance with ethical labour practices. This includes:

  • Verifying that suppliers adhere to modern slavery legislation and maintain appropriate labour standards.
  • Reviewing supplier policies, accreditations, or statements where relevant.
  • Maintaining the right to audit or terminate contracts if suppliers are found to be in breach of modern slavery laws.

During 2025, Skylite strengthened its supplier onboarding processes to include a formal modern slavery declaration for all new suppliers, requiring them to confirm they conduct their business in compliance with the Act and have appropriate due diligence in place for their own supply chains. We continued to monitor low-risk and medium-risk suppliers annually.

Training and Awareness

All Skylite staff, associates, and contractors are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and the company’s expectations for ethical conduct.

During 2025, Skylite implemented:

  • Updated guidance on identifying and reporting potential modern slavery risks.
  • Annual refresher briefings for senior staff and those involved in procurement and supplier management.
  • Inclusion of modern slavery awareness within new associate induction materials.

This ensures that everyone representing Skylite understands their role in preventing and reporting unethical practices.

Measuring Effectiveness

To evaluate the effectiveness of our approach, Skylite Associates monitors its compliance through the following key performance indicators (KPIs):

  • Supplier Compliance Rate: Percentage of suppliers that have confirmed adherence to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. (In 2025, 100% of newly onboarded suppliers completed the formal modern slavery declaration.)
  • Training Completion: Percentage of staff and associates who have completed annual modern slavery awareness training.
  • Reported Concerns: Monitoring of any ethical or compliance concerns raised via the whistleblowing mechanism or line management, investigated, and resolved.

No instances of modern slavery or human trafficking were identified in Skylite Associates’ operations or supply chains during the 2025 reporting period.

Continuous Improvement and Future Commitments

In 2026, Skylite Associates will continue to:

  • Enhance supplier due diligence by adopting a more structured risk-rating process based on sector, geography, and type of service/goods provided.
  • Review and update policies to align with any future government reporting requirements under the Modern Slavery Act.
  • Strengthen partnerships with ethical suppliers and promote awareness across our associate network.
  • Explore participation in recognised sustainability or ethical business frameworks relevant to our sector, such as B Corp certification or similar ethical procurement standards.

Commitment and Approval

Skylite Associates remains committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights. We will continue to assess, monitor, and improve our practices to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our organisation or any part of our supply chain.
